Ingredients
  

For the Chicken & Broccoli:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (sliced into thin strips)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder or 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For the Sauce:

  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water for thickening
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for spice

Instructions
 

Prep the Ingredients:

  • Cut chicken into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
  • Wash and chop broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  • In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch slurry.

Cook the Chicken:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken strips and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.

Cook the Broccoli:

  • In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon oil and broccoli florets.
  • Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  • Add garlic and ginger and cook for another 30 seconds.

Combine & Sauce:

  • Return chicken to the pan with broccoli.
  • Pour in the prepared sauce and stir well.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat everything evenly.

Serve & Enjoy:

  • Serve hot over steamed rice, noodles, or quinoa.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions (optional).
