Ingredients
  

For the Dough:

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk 110°F
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg

For the Chocolate Filling:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

For the Chocolate Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 –3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough:

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  • Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until combined.
  • Knead for 5–7 minutes until dough is smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Make the Chocolate Filling:

  • In a bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon into a smooth paste.

Assemble the Rolls:

  • Roll out dough into a 14x9-inch rectangle.
  • Spread the chocolate filling evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
  • Roll dough tightly from the long side and cut into 12 even rolls.
  • Place in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and let rest for 15 minutes.

Bake:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Make the Chocolate Glaze:

  • Mix powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls.
