For the Dough (Optional):
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¾ cup warm water
For the Filling:
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni slices or other toppings: cooked sausage, veggies, etc.
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano optional
For Assembly:
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: garlic butter 2 tbsp melted butter + 1 minced garlic clove
Gather your ingredients: all-purpose flour, active dry yeast, warm water, olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
