Ingredients
  

- For the Salmon:

  • - 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • - 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • - 1 teaspoon paprika
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

- For the Shrimp:

  • - 1/2 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • - 1 tablespoon butter
  • - 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning or seafood seasoning
  • - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • - 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • - 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions
 

- Prepare the Salmon:

  • - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • - Pat salmon fillets dry and season with olive oil, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and lemon zest.
  • - Place salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • - Bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.

- Cook the Shrimp:

  • - While the salmon is baking, heat butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • - Add shrimp and season with Old Bay, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • - Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from pan.

- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • - In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • - Add red pepper flakes (if using) and lemon juice. Stir well.
  • - Return cooked shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.

- Assemble & Serve:

  • - Place baked salmon on plates and top with garlic butter shrimp.
  • - Drizzle extra sauce over the dish and garnish with fresh parsley.
  • - Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
